For 10 days in April, I walked a little over 160 miles from Old Dime Box, Texas to the Rothko Chapel in Houston.
Along the way, I slept outdoors in a small tent, mainly by the sides of highways, twice in open fields, another time next to a wall outside of a Houston-suburb gated community.
Over the course of those 10 days, I shot 12 rolls of film, which I intend to publish as a collection and exhibit here in New York.
In the next few months, I'll be posting images and more information about this project.
I can now say this was a deeply moving and illuminating experience, and my hope is to share some small part of that though these forthcoming images and words.
