There are specific tiers that I would recommend on an individual basis, based on that person's perceived goals, experience and understanding. I'll try to cover each one thoroughly; please tag a friend that may find this useful if you can.

Tier 1: Tracking calories only. Best suited for total beginners with minimal understanding/experience of nutrition. A great starting point you could say, one that I would highly recommend to the weekend warrior just looking to make some positive changes. This facilitates nothing other than portion control (rather than choosing specific foods for their macronutrient value).

Tier 2: Calories + Protein Target. Best suited towards the general enthusiast who could be described as "likes to lift but also likes burgers and pizza". Suitable for those that are concious of making some solid progress but are happy to prioritize socializing and flexibility or in other words, for lifting lifestylers.

Tier 3: Tracking Macros (by default, tracking Calories). Suitable for those who really like structure and perceive their progress as rather high on their list of priorities. Have no issue turning away certain foods that "don't fit" and are happy to weigh everything, track everything and/or consume food in a repetitive manner (meal preppers this is you). Best described as the serious soldier.

I Tried being alot of things. A mover, a security guard, a bouncer, a college student, a nurse, and an IT guy. It's not hard for me to be an artist. It's actually something i love doing. Well I'm considering going back to school. I have been for a long time. I have the money for Emt. I'd like to go back to college too but I don't really know what I'D  do. I drew for EMT. I worked my IT job for everything else. It's doable. Sometimes I feel like the biggest idiot because I try to maintain and have good relationships. Even that's hard. I like working and being busy. I feel like the only time I think negatively is when I'm not. Who knows. I don't make much either way but I realized the more I do I sustain myself and can do anything I put my mind to.

"Everyone has their own conditions and circumstances but it's what you make of these problems that truly dictate the "positivity" or "negativity" these issues omit in your life. Measuring my blood sugar, has made me consistent, dedicated, detailed, diagnostic and the list could go on. Can it be a pain in the ass when you have to do it 4-6 times a day? Absolutely, however I always look at the bigger picture of things. The good it brought in my life outweighs any of the inconvenience or "annoyance" it can cause. So my message for you today is to be positive and look in the good of things, no matter how bad they may seem to be. Positivity will shine opportunity of growth and I can assure you that there is no better feeling."
